I have a Masters in Clinical Psychotherapy and Social Studies with the Institute of Psychotherapy and Social Studies, London England (2009).  My study was in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with a strong focus on attachment theory, and relational psychotherapy.   Formally accredited with the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) in England, I am now a clinical member of PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia).

Post training I became interested in meditation and mindfulness in psychotherapeutic practice.  I have read widely on the benefits of mindfulness for the client and practitioner, and after practicing meditation and mindfulness for 5 years I completed a Teacher Training with Matt Young at the Melbourne Meditation Centre (2014).

I am certified with The Equine Psychotherapy Institute, Equine Psychotherapy Australia Model.  I completed their foundation year training in 2012, and their advanced Working with Trauma training in December 2014.  Prior to this I completed two three day intensive trainings with the Gestalt Equine Institute of the Rockies both in Australia (January 2010), and England (November 2010).

The Equine Psychotherapy Institute training has given me extensive insight into Gestalt theory and practice which has expand and enhanced my capabilities as a therapeutic practitioner.

I have completed, and regularity update my training with VVCS - Working with returned servicemen and women (2013/2014).

I completed a Certificate 4 in Alcohol and Other Drugs (2013) with Odyssey House Victoria.

I am a qualified Integration Aide for children with learning difficulties with the Faculty of Education at Monash University (2013)

I currently work as first responder for peoples impacted by Domestic and Family Violence, and Sexual Assault. I have previously worked in Suicide prevention, men's relationship counselling, and with current and former serving members of the ADF.

I have a current Police Check, Working with Children Check & First Aide Certification.

But what am I really like.

Well, I am very passionate about Psychotherapy, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Mindfulness. I am highly skilled and experienced in working with early developmental trauma, people at risk of suicide and self harm, anxiety, depression, and addiction.

When I'm not in the paddock with the horses, Iā€™m walking my dog, hiking, going to concerts, and swimming in the sea.

I am a Melbournian born and bred, who spent 17 years living, working, and studying in London.  I miss London but not the weather!
